This year, Beatson Cancer Charity celebrates its 10-year anniversary and we want to thank you
for the life-changing impact your donations are making on those facing cancer.
Did you know that Beatson Cancer Charity was formed on 27 February 2014 following the merger
of Friends of the Beatson and The Beatson Oncology Centre Fund?
Since 2014, your donations have enabled us to support the wellbeing of thousands of
patients as well as helping to fund groundbreaking clinical trials - offering hope to many.
Your generosity has been the driving force behind our success, and we simply would not be
where we are without you. As we reflect on the past and look forward to shaping the future,
together we create lasting change.

Influencing the future
Beatson Cancer Charity has launched its Strategic Plan for 2023-26, which sets the vision for the organisation over the next three years.
Cancer care remains very prevalent in Scotland’s communities and over the next three years Beatson Cancer Charity’s new vision will create a pivotal role in coordinating efforts of those involved in cancer care and influence the future, for people.
Three main themes will steer the strategy: “Clinical Excellence”, “Practical Care and Support” and “Research and Innovation.”
