Beatson Cancer Charity provides a comprehensive range of wellbeing and specialist services including complementary therapies, specialist health and work support and specialist activities delivered by charity staff and volunteers.
Beatson Cancer Charity provides wellbeing services to cancer patients and their families across the West of Scotland. Coping with cancer is hard, so we are there to make that journey a little easier by giving expert wellbeing support, therapies and care to people at a very vulnerable time in their lives.
Our Specialist Health and Work team is experienced in health and work issues, particularly for those who have been affected by cancer. The service supports those who are remaining at work, returning to work or looking for a new job. We also support employers who need guidance dealing with cancer in the workplace.
The befriending service provides one-to-one telephone companionship which allows the building of good rapport and regular contact. Our fantastic volunteer befrienders can also highlight how you can find out more about practical and emotional help resources available.
Our team of professionals are skilled in working with you to identify the support you may require and create a plan which suits your needs and helps you work towards what is important to you.
Beatson Cancer Charity is committed to providing significant funding and services to enhance the experience, treatment, outcomes and wellbeing of current and former cancer patients and their families in partnership with The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

Staff and volunteers have a direct impact on patients and families throughout the cancer centre, from our welcome service which welcomes and accompanies patients and families to their destination, to our direct engagement around the wards, departments and Wellbeing Centre.
