Riley Bartholomew

Riley joined Beatson Cancer Charity in June 2023. He came to the role of Benefits Advisor with over seven years of experience working for a dual sensory loss charity. Supporting those with a single or dual sensory loss, and other health conditions, has equipped with him a wide range of experiences to assist those with a cancer diagnosis. Riley has trained with Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) and keeps up to date with all the changes within the benefits system.  

One of Riley’s favourite aspects of the job is working closely with clients with their benefits and finances which can be a source of real stress and overwhelm. Anything to relieve the client of some fiscal pressure so they can focus on their priorities is truly fulfilling.  

Out with his busy role he can be found on the basketball court as part of a Glasgow community team.
