Susan works as a Group Support Facilitator in the Bereavement and Group Programme Teams. Prior to joining the Beatson Cancer Charity in November 2024, she worked in hospital-based spiritual care, supporting staff, patients and their families. Susan spent nine years as a Community and Wellbeing Practitioner based in North West Glasgow, supporting people towards personal goals and changes in their lives. She is also an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) trainer.
Susan finds great meaning in her work and feels privileged to be able to walk through some of the toughest and most tender parts of life with people.
Outside of work, Susan can be found out hillwalking with her dog Woody.
