Fiona Sinclair Headshot

Fiona Sinclair is a Therapeutic Radiographer, who qualified in 2000 from Glasgow Caledonian university. She started her career in Preston Radiotherapy department before returning home in 2001. Fiona joined the breast team in 2012 and in 2017 was seconded to the Beatson cancer charity two days a week to design, implement and facilitate a fear of cancer recurrence programme for breast cancer patients. In 2020 the successful programme was opened up to anyone who has had a cancer diagnosis. Fiona has recently completed her MSc in radiotherapy and oncology at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and undertaken psychology training/courses in both ACT and CBT. Alongside this Fiona has set up a radiotherapy prehab service and a CBT menopause service within the NHS. She has always been passionate about patient care and support throughout their treatment and beyond. Fiona has published the positive findings from the delivery of the fear of cancer recurrence programme and says being part of the team that delivers this has been the most rewarding part of her career to date. Outside of work, I enjoy having fun with my family and friends, walks with my dog, going to the theatre and eating cake!
