We recently held our second successful launch event at a Westminster reception. The event was kindly sponsored by John Robertson MP and it was a fantastic occasion for the charity whose representatives were warmly welcomed by so many well-known faces.
Celebrity attendees included Penny Smith, Sharleen Spiteri, Katy Brand, Emma Kennedy and Sue Perkins!Speeches were also made by Chief Executive David Welch, charity ambassador Nicola Hodge, John Robertson MP, Chairman Jamie Matheson and Professor Anthony Chalmers.
All speakers emphasised the importance of the launch and the subsequent development of the new charity as a unique and highly significant step in the fight against cancer and the potential impact of the charity on a local, national and international scale.
