Larger-than-life baubles have hit the streets of Scotland as we launched our Beatson Bauble campaign this week.
5 celebrities and 2 top brands specially designed their very own, unmissable four foot 3D Beatson Baubles to help raise vital funds for patients and families affected by cancer in Scotland this Christmas.
Building on the success of the ‘Beatson Bauble Appeal’ which has run for the last three years, we are now encouraging people to go ‘Off the Beatson Bauble Track’. Found in public places across the West of Scotland, Christmas shoppers are encouraged to find and share the baubles on their social channels using the hashtag #BeatsonBauble in support of The Beatson. Each bauble also has a collection box for those wanting to donate.
Game of Thrones actress Kate Dickie, Line of Duty actor Martin Compston, TV legend Lorraine Kelly, singer KT Tunstall, Still game favourite Jane McCarry, Irn Bru & Tunnocks all put pen to paper and created unique festive masterpieces which can be found in shopping centres throughout Glasgow.
Our Chief Executive, Graham Soutar said: “We’re so excited to bring our bauble appeal to life, and really spread the Christmas cheer this year. Thank you to all our celebrity and business partners who have dedicated time to design our seven Beatson Baubles. Christmas is a time of year where family is front of mind, and while we take a moment to remember those who are no longer with us, we want to raise as much money as we can to fund research and continue delivering the unique care and support offered at centres across the west of Scotland. We’re asking everyone who has been touched in some way by the Beatson care to get involved.”
The baubles will be in place from 28 January until 6 January 2018.
