Beatson Cancer Charity is delighted to be named BGL Contracts’ charity of the year for 2018. 

The specialist electrical company, based in Hillington Park, has already gotten off to a great start with some of its staff competing in last month’s Rough Runner challenge in aid of the charity. 

They raised an impressive £1000 in sponsorship, which was then doubled to £2000 by BGL managing director Danny Skirving and director Kathryn Eccles.

BGL Contracts is very proud to support the caring and compassionate work carried out by all the wonderful staff and volunteers at Beatson Cancer Charity.

All of the funds raised by BGL Contracts will go towards transforming the way cancer care is funded and delivered. Beatson Cancer Charity provides services, as well as funding specialists, research and education to invest in a better future for cancer patients and their families. 

Beatson Cancer Charity is very much looking forward to working with BGL Contracts over the coming year and we are extremely grateful to be chosen as their charity of the year. They’ve gotten off to a fantastic start - already raising £2000, so we’re excited to see what the rest of the year brings.
