Beatson Cancer Charity’s third annual Ladies Lunch has raised an incredible £41,196, which will go towards supporting patients and families affected by cancer.
The event, which was held on Sunday 24 March at the Hilton Glasgow, welcomed over 500 guests for an afternoon of good food and fantastic entertainment.
Back to host the event for the third-year running was Scottish television and radio presenter and Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams.
Kaye said: “I was delighted to be asked back for a third year to host Beatson Cancer Charity’s Ladies Lunch.
“Over the years I’ve got to know this charity well, but the work it does and the number of lives it touches still amazes me.
“It’s a local charity that does so much for those facing cancer, so please show your support.”
Kaye was joined for a Q&A by Ricky Ross and Lorraine McIntosh, two of the UK’s most acclaimed artists.
As members of one of Scotland’s most famous and successful bands, Deacon Blue, and with equally successful solo careers in music, songwriting, television and theatre, Ricky and Lorraine had many interesting stories to share.

Elaine C SmithGuests also had the pleasure of hearing from one of Scotland’s best-known performers – singer, actress, writer, comedienne, standup - Elaine C Smith. Tenors Un Limited and Elite Cabaret provided further entertainment.

Beatson Cancer Charity supports people affected by cancer, making the journey easier by transforming the way cancer care is funded and delivered.
The charity provides services, as well as funding specialists, research and education to invest in a better future for cancer patients and their families.
