John Hartson visits Beatson Cancer Charity

Ex-Celtic and Wales international footballer John Hartson, visited Beatson Cancer Charity Wellbeing Centre.  

Through his foundation, John donated an incredible £20,000 to the charity and came to present the cheque in person on Monday 18th February. 

At our offices, he took part in interviews with sports journalists and carried out a live Sky News interview, talking about why he was visiting the charity and also football. 

He then went over to our Wellbeing Centre, where our Patient & Family Support Manager Claire Bradley gave him a tour of our centre's services. Following that he took part in a Q&A session with Beatson patients in the centre lounge where they enjoyed hearing John's life experiences along with him taking photos and giving autographs.
