Over 450 people turned out to support Beatson Cancer Charity at our fifth annual ball helping to raise a staggering £46,654 for people facing cancer.
On Friday 1 November, Beatson Cancer Charity welcomed guests to the Hilton Glasgow for our glamorous Beatson Ball which promised a night of good food, entertainment and prizes.
The theme for the ball was ‘Dance the decades’ and featured entertainment from four bands from four decades – Echo State playing 70s classics, The A-Tees, also known as The Foxes, covering hits from the 80s, five-piece band The Brightside bringing energetic 90s dance music and The Soundtrax finishing off with some noughties indie pop rock.
Guests also had a chance to bid on some fantastic prizes as part of the auction on the night. Thanks to generous donors, the highest bidders went home with weekend grandstand tickets to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Glasgow SSE premium tickets to see Lewis Capaldi and much more.
