Today Beatson Cancer Charity launched its annual Christmas Bauble Appeal with the support of a few familiar faces.
TV and Wrestling star Grado, Scottish actors Jane McCarry and Gary Hollywood and Clyde Radio Presenter Gina McKie all came together to hang their Beatson bauble and show their support for the charity.
Each has their own reason for hanging a bauble this Christmas and they are encouraging everyone else who has been touched in some way by The Beatson or the charity to get involved and say thanks, while helping to support more people facing cancer this Christmas.
Martin Cawley, Beatson Cancer Charity’s Chief Executive, said:
“For lots of people Christmas is a special happy time of year, but it can also be a difficult one.
“I’m sure everyone will have their own reason to hang their bauble on their tree – maybe in memory of someone or as a thank you to The Beatson for caring for a friend or relative.
“Whatever the reason, all your support and donations will help us continue to deliver the unique care and services we offer at The Beatson and across the west of Scotland over Christmas and beyond."
