CeilidhFest Glasgow is taking place throughout November 2021, and is brought to the city by its hospitality and entertainment industry.
Headline acts include Hipsway, Dougie Maclean and Phil Cunningham & Aly Bain - but the festival also features famous and unknown musicians playing modern and traditional Scottish and international music and dance, drawn from Glasgow’s multicultural creative hotspots.
The full line-up includes an eclectic mix of indie, rock and club music as well as traditional Scottish, modern Celtic and all sorts of music and dance – champion Highland and break dancers, bhangra and other multi-cultural fusions and mash-ups.
Kate Walker, founder of CeilidhFest Glasgow, said: “We chose Beatson Cancer Charity as our official charity partner because they hold a special place in my life and the lives of so many families in Glasgow and beyond. They do fantastic work and we are delighted that they are our official charity partner for 2021.”
Joyce Ross, of Beatson Cancer Charity, added: “We’re delighted to be the official charity partner for CeilidhFest Glasgow 2021! CeilidhFest takes place all across Glasgow and there are lots of ways to get involved with the fun, while raising funds for Beatson Cancer Charity.”
