Our Bard & His Belles Burns Supper proved that YES you can celebrate all things Burns in March!
It’s a week since our fantastic evening which raised over £40,000 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. It was a night full of bonnie lassies and handsome laddies. The night started off with the wonderful Tam the Piper dressed in our Beatson Cancer Charity Tartan, who piped and welcomed everyone to the venue. Alison Walker was our event host and she was dressed in a very Burns appropriate gown by Scottesque.

Keynote speaker Alison Edgar MBE said:
“It was such an honour when the team contacted me. It was a privilege because it is such a magnificent charity”
Guests then enjoyed an address to the Haggis and speakers Robbie Duncan and Alison Edgar MBE. An auction was hosted by the fantastic Alex Fleming, with prizes including, a private dining experience for 34 people at Nico Simeone’s new restaurant, Beat 6 – where 100% of profits go to Beatson Cancer Charity. There was music from the Red Hot Chilli Pipers and Well Plaid that kept guests dancing into the night!
