We were thrilled to have SVL as a dedicated corporate supporter for the Glasgow Kiltwalk this year raising an impressive £7,417.50. One of their team members undertook an extraordinary challenge to complement their support. Instead of participating in the Kiltwalk, he chose to tackle the virtual Everest Challenge. This remarkable feat involved a virtual cycle to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest—8,848 meters and approximately 100 miles. He estimated it would take him around 14-16 hours, including some well-deserved rest stops, and he started at 3 a.m. to finish around the same time the Kiltwalk team completed their journey. Thank you, SVL, for your continued support
We are moved by the generous support Abbey Chemist has shown for Kiltwalk 2024. In memory of Claire's beloved mum, Claire, Leanne, Adelle, and Suzie walked together to contribute an incredible £2,036.59. Their dedication to this cause is truly inspiring. After seeing the cheque photos being taken, a customer gave an additional contribution, further amplifying their heartfelt commitment.
A special shoutout to Mary, Dervla, Lorna, Charlene, Amy, and Christa from Mappin and Webb for their incredible participation in Kiltwalk 2024. Their team was driven by a deeply personal cause, as one of their own staff members is currently undergoing treatment for a brain tumour. Their determination shone brightly as they walked together, raising an impressive £2,526.89.
We’re thrilled to share the incredible support we’ve received from Supply Technologies for the Kiltwalk 2024 event! A massive shoutout to Shirley, Scott, Craig, Stuart, and Charlene for their generous contribution of £1,595.46. Thank you for walking this path with us and for believing in our cause.
