The Story of Mr and Mrs Flynn

It was love at first sight at the White Elephant disco on Sauchiehall Street, where Sheriff's Clerk Denis Flynn and Bank Teller Wilma first met. From that evening, their devotion to each other never wavered.

Denis, remembered fondly by his sisters Maeve and Moira, was a man with a generous heart, while Wilma was known for her bright, radiant spirit. When Wilma was diagnosed with cancer, Denis became her primary caretaker, dedicating himself to her care until her final days.

Just a year after Wilma’s passing, Denis followed her. In gratitude for the exceptional care and support provided by the Beatson Cancer Charity Wellbeing Centre, Denis left a generous bequest in his Will in honour of both himself and Wilma.
